Big Bob from Current bagged this monster lionfish in front of Oleander Gardens in Eleuthera. Looks to be around 17". WOW!

WOW!!! That's the biggest i have ever seen.
My 24 year old son is an avid free diver. He shot a 17 1/4 inch lionfish in 17 feet of water NW of Cape Eleuthera. We are trying to find a taxidermist here in the states to do a skin mount of this monster. We killed many that day but this is the biggest one we have ever seen anywhere. I will send you some photos. He will eat no more Bahamian fish. My son's name is Zachary Timmons. He is a firefighter from Saint Augustine, Florida.
